Chapter 124 14: Action

Chapter 124:14: Action (th update)
a few days later.

Night falls.

Gabriel put tattoos on some parts of his body, dyed his hair black, and dressed himself up in front of the mirror. At first glance, he looked no different from those slum gangs, except that his face was too "local".

With two guns in holsters on his waist, he drove the old car to a weedy area near the apartment, got out of the car, patted the hood of the car a few times with a hint of nostalgia, and turned and left.

Even though it was already early in the morning, in the dim light downstairs of the apartment building one could still vaguely see a few people squatting there, not knowing what they were doing.

Gabriel, carrying a bag, tensed himself, smoking a cigarette, and walking straight up the stairs to the apartment.

Those people just glanced at him, showing no interest, and continued to squat there in a circle.

He reached the fourth floor safely, threw down his cigarette butt, stomped it out, took out his gun with one hand and the master key with the other.

The apartment building was not quiet at this time.

The sound of videos, music, and occasional drunken yelling and cursing make up the turbid atmosphere of life here.

Walking to the target door, he inserted the key and turned it gently.

There was a loud clattering sound, which was not noticeable in the noisy night.

Fortunately, nothing unexpected happened to the master key. Although he had learned lock picking in vain, he did not feel any regrets.

The door was pushed open gently, leaving a crack.

Safety chain.

He was not surprised. Who wouldn't be on guard in such a chaotic apartment?

I took out a mini speaker, placed it by the door, and played some catchy rap. The sound completely blended into the already noisy apartment environment.

He took out the hand hydraulic pliers from his bag and easily cut the small chain.

He pushed the door open and slowly closed it, making a not-too-loud noise. He found the light switch and turned it on.

Then he quickly pulled open the curtain that covered the room and saw a sleeping woman and a half-grown child.

He slowly backed out, went to another room, and found the person he was looking for.

With a gun to his head and his mouth covered, Abdul was awakened.

"Well--"

Looking at the black muzzle of the gun, he wisely chose not to resist and raised his hands obediently, except for a subconscious whimper when he woke up.

Gabriel released his mouth and pointed outside.

Abdul nodded breathlessly.

The two of them came to the living room and Gabriel pointed at the TV.

Abdul found the remote, turned on the TV, and handed it to Gabriel.

He turned up the volume before he began to speak: "Come out, lady, bring your children with you, don't force me to hurt you."

There was no movement in the inner room. Gabriel aimed at Abdul's thigh and said, "I'll count to three. Either you come out or I'll cripple one of your son's legs first."

"One"

"Come out right now! Let's get out!"

There were panicked sounds coming from the room. A few seconds later, Abdul's mother, looking pale, lifted the curtain and walked out with Fahd.

Looking at the three people standing in front of him, Gabriel took out a stack of straps from his pocket and threw them on the ground: "You, tie each other's hands."

"Sir, if you want money, we can give it to you. Please don't hurt us." Abdul's mother knelt down in panic and begged.

Fahad gritted his teeth, stared at Gabriel fiercely, and clenched his fists.

Abdul: "My money is in the room. If you want, I can tell you where it is."

Abdul didn't recognize Gabriel, who had dyed his hair and put on makeup, at first. He was Caroline's grandfather.

Gabriel shook his head, then stared at Abdul: "Why did you lie to the police."

Abdul was stunned, his brain buzzing, the face in front of him gradually overlapped with the old man he had only met once in his memory.

"You are! Caroline's grandfather." Abdul knew the other party's identity and motive, and felt hopeless in his heart.

The mother also understood what was going on. She nervously moved in front of Abdul, blocked the gun and pleaded: "Sir, this has nothing to do with Abdul. The murderer is the Martin brothers. They threatened us not to say anything." Gabriel finally knew the name of the murderer, but he would not believe it directly. He needed further interrogation.

"Tie it up."

He moved the gun toward the mother, thinking that this would be more threatening to her two sons.

But his action completely irritated Fahd, whose eyes were almost blinded by anger.

"asshole!"

Fahad rushed towards Gabriel in a rage.

Gabriel was still an ordinary man, an ordinary old man at that, and even after a few days of forced training, he was not necessarily stronger than an angry teenager.

But his advantage is that he knows his shortcomings.

So he just shot.

Deterrence had failed and he had no choice.

Puff puff--

After three shots, Fahd fell straight forward to the ground and became motionless.

"Fahd!!"

The mother collapsed and screamed, then picked up a stool and threw it at Gabriel.

Puff——Snap.

The old stool couldn't withstand the collision and broke into pieces of wood, but it also successfully smashed the gun in his hand into the narrow gap of the TV cabinet.

Just before that, he fired a shot.

The mother knelt beside Fahd with her mouth open, feeling the severe pain in her abdomen and unable to speak.

When his mother smashed the chair, Abdul grabbed the wooden stick that served as a table leg, shouted to give himself courage, and launched an attack on Gabriel.

With a few thuds, the wooden stick hit Gabriel's head, injuring his wound which had not yet healed. He felt dizzy and tried to take out another pistol, but Abdul kept pestering him.

The movement in the house finally attracted others, and they could clearly hear many footsteps approaching.

No, I can't die here.

"Ah!" He used all his strength to push Abdul slightly away and finally pulled out the gun.

But Abdul also saw through the other party's plan, and he used all his strength to slam into him. With a bang, he broke the door directly. Gabriel was thrown to the ground, and severe pain attacked him from his back. But at this time he didn't dare to lie down for another second. He endured the severe pain, pointed the gun at Abdul, and was about to pull the trigger.

Abdul was quick to grab the gun and deflect it.

puff--

The bullet grazed the hair, bringing the terror between life and death.

A group of residents with unfriendly faces had surrounded the corridor holding knives or sticks, watching the two people fighting. Fearing that they would be affected, they did not step forward directly and could only try to stop it by shouting and scolding.

puff!
"what!"

Another shot hit Abdul's thigh, instantly making him lose the strength to fight back.

Gabriel stood up in a panic and was about to deal with Abdul directly, but he saw people gathered on both sides of the aisle.

He gasped for breath, wondering how to survive.

Or, take "Martin" away at all costs.

"Who is Brother Martin?" He pointed at the onlookers, and as his gun moved, the people in that direction kept retreating.

No one answered.

Everyone looked at him silently.

Looking at Abdul, who was lying on the ground covering his thigh and struggling to get into the room, he stepped on his wound and pointed at his head.

"Point out Brother Martin."
