Chapter 101 02000: Remarks on the launch

Chapter 101 02.000: "Remarks on the launch"

Dear citizens of the Empire, I am Luo Yuan, the clerk in charge of writing this book in the Terran Court of Documents.

This book will be on the shelves tomorrow. I am very grateful that you have followed the book until today and have read this far. Thank you very much for your support.

I read every reader's comment and feedback carefully when I had time, and also analyzed and summarized the shortcomings and defects of the book so far.

This book is the first online article I have written in the true sense. The road to cultivation is long and arduous, and there are many details that I am still exploring and learning. In the future, I will continue to improve my ability to write long stories, make up for my shortcomings, and strive to bring readers a story that is worth reading and not broken.

I am a fantasy and history lover, and also a Hammer fan. I like Medieval and 40K, The Witcher, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I especially like to ponder the "majority" in the other world, that is, the mortals. Their lives, their culture, their customs, and their spirit.

Although 40K is a grimdark worldview, life is a torture for most mortals in this world.

But I really like the stories of mortals in the series such as War Inspector Kane, Eisenhorn, and Dawn of Fire. They have their own emotions and their own stories, and no matter whether the ending is tragic or funny, I always feel deeply empathetic.

Every time I finish watching it, I sigh at the complex evil and virtue in this world, am amused by the optimism and humor of Military Supervisor Kane, and moved by the fearless sacrifice. There are many stories in this world that make me feel sad.

I also really like Space Marines. Blood Angels is my favorite parent group, and Lamenters is my favorite subgroup.

The transformation and spirit of the Blood Son added a lot of hope and beautiful expectations to this dark world.

They went from being the 9th Legion of the Ghouls, which everyone feared, to being redeemed under the leadership of the perfect Primarch, which radiated glory. This was in stark contrast to Angron and his warhounds. One led the evil ghosts to become angels, and the other led the angels to evil ghosts.

Sanguinius is so perfect, so perfect that I fell in love with him the first time I saw him, so perfect that I knew he would die even without watching the sequel.

Because of his perfection and noble spirit, he is doomed to destruction. This world cannot accommodate such a perfect person.

But I was curious about what he would do before he died. After I finished reading The Horus Chronicle, The End and Death 3, The Destruction of Baal, and The Lamenters with curiosity, I completely fell in love with the Blood Angels, these imperfect angels who would even become cruel after triggering blood thirst and black rage.

'Even if I am a monster, I am Sanguinius's monster, not yours!'

Because there were too many regrets in my heart, I later wanted to use my relevant knowledge to write a mortal story with the theme of the Imperial Navy. I think the Imperial Navy, which travels across the starry sea to protect the human territory, is romantic, fearless, and brave, and has an adventurous heart in this decadent and dark world.

But land warfare is also essential, and the protagonist will be "seconded" to serve in the Star Army later. Although a mortal does not have too strong power alone, the human spirit includes virtues such as unity, sacrifice, and mutual assistance. They can control warships and use the greatest weapon of war to smash monsters. He can also unite and use wisdom and charm to perform some seemingly impossible feats.

I hope to write Horatio Cochrane as a "human being". He is not a perfect person. He has emotions and selfishness that everyone has. He will even do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, even if it means breaking the rules.

But he must be a "person", a human being, a human being with normal human thinking, a person who fights to keep humanity going in this dark world, a person who wipes away the tears of the one he loves and fills the missing blank in the female character's heart with his actions.

'Even though the world is dark and boundless, we can definitely do something and will never sit and wait for death. Even if those bastards think we are just trying to stop a chariot with our arms, and overestimating our own abilities, we can definitely light a fire to illuminate the darkness.'

However, since I'm writing fan fiction, although I know that many things don't conform to the official setting, I don't want to write a story that is too bitter and vengeful, because the tragedies of Sanguinius, Rogal Dorn, the Weepers, the Astral Knights, etc. are already very tear-jerking.

I am not one who can write tragic stories. I prefer hope and light to meaningless death.

I hate to mindlessly criticize others just to highlight the darkness and cruelty of the world. I believe that the sacrifices in tragedy are made in order to continue the good wishes and expectations of more people. They can make people feel hope and brightness for the future, and victory is just around the corner.

The real world is tiring enough, why do we have to put ourselves and our readers in the shoes of the protagonist and only suffer and resentment?
Therefore, the story in the rest of this book can be at most about 'vitality and brilliance bursting out from despair, completing a refreshing counterattack and counter-attack'.

This is also the core idea I want to express - "Civilization will continue to thrive, and human glory will last forever."

No matter how desperate the situation is, as long as we work together, hope and victory will eventually come. Even the Four Gods cannot play with us. May the Emperor of God bless us.

Sacrifice, yes, but I will focus the emotion of sacrifice on the minor characters or a few supporting characters. I don't want the protagonist to lose a lot, and I don't want to kill the people he cherishes and loves one by one, even if this is cruel 40K.

Therefore, if E the Great Demon kicks some dead supporting characters from the Golden Throne back to the real universe to continue serving mankind, please be understanding.

For all the plot lines that seem a bit cruel, I will try my best to arrange a warm ending so that readers will not feel too sad.

Readers who have seen the relevant plot are also requested to continue reading and not give up.

Finally, I hope that all readers will like this story, and I also hope that all readers can give a first order to support it tomorrow. Thank you all!
