Chapter 7: The naming system is malfunctioning?
"Well... I'm leaving, I'm leaving, come on you guys." Nazha smiled dryly and turned to leave.
Bardock closed the door.
"This Nazha always speaks so openly." Jine said with a smile.
"Does she often come over this late?" Bardock asked, frowning. "I'll talk to Rick tomorrow and ask him to keep his wife in check."
"It's okay. Besides, Belle gets off work late." Jine smiled. "Naza is a good person. She doesn't have any problems except that she likes to talk nonsense sometimes. Bardock, you must not say these things to Riku. There is no need for that. On the contrary, it will only make the relationship between the neighbors chaotic."
"Does Belsay get off work so late every day?" Bardock said in a low voice.
"Yes, the work of the imperial chef is very hard, and he has just been promoted to the head of the imperial kitchen, so he needs to handle a lot of work." Jine sighed, "It's really hard for this child. He needs to work hard at such a young age."
"If I'm overthinking the Frieza issue, I'll apply to have him serve as our team's logistics support and follow me to the alien planet for training." Bardock thought for a moment and suggested to Gine.
"Oh? Don't want to go? Kakarot and Raditz have already left Planet Vegeta, so don't take Belsay with you." Gine shook her head quickly, showing no sign of agreement.
"Then I will find an opportunity to ask King Vegeta to give Belsay an easier job." Bardock said again.
"Really." Jine smiled and said, "Although Bersay is young, he is a smart kid with his own ideas... just like you when you were a kid."
Bardock: "????"
"Hehe, I accidentally said it wrong. I always think of him as my own son." Gine said, lowering her head and sighing, "Bardock, you know what, sometimes I really think that Belsay is our biological son, and Raditz is the child of the Potez family... although my idea is very naive."
Bardock raised his eyes and looked at Jine with some surprise.
"Naza said yesterday that Belsay looks more and more like me..." Jine walked over to look in the mirror, then said, "Look, do our face shapes and eyes look similar? As for the hairstyle... It's not quite like mine, it's a bit like Bardock's."
Bardock was speechless and walked over to Gine, looking in the mirror, and felt that Belsay's hairstyle had nothing in common with his own.
Of course, Raditz's hairstyle doesn't look like his own.
"Not really." Bardock shook his head.
"What if this is the case?" Jine said, gently lifting Bardock's hair up so that it stood up high.
Bardock looked at himself in the mirror again, his pupils shrank suddenly, and he couldn't help but widen his eyes.
Gine also looked at Bardock in the mirror. When she saw Bardock's upside-down hairstyle, she was immediately stunned and almost shouted.
"So similar..." Jine exclaimed in amazement.
"How... is this possible?" Bardock murmured, speechless for a moment.
"Naza joked with me yesterday, asking if there was something wrong with the naming system?" Jine thought about it carefully, raised her head and said in deep thought, "Actually, I suddenly feel that what Naza said seems to be quite right. Belsay and Raditz were born at the same time. Could they have been confused when they were put together?"
"I'll go get an appraisal tomorrow." Bardock thought for a moment and said to Gine.
"Identification?" Jine was stunned.
"I heard there's an ancient technology that can find out the genetic similarity by comparing a strand of Belsay's hair with my hair," Bardock explained. "If the similarity is around 99.99%, then they're biological children."
"All we need is his hair. That's easy." Jine nodded vigorously, and looked at Bardock and herself in the mirror again, and sighed, "You know what, Belsay's face shape seems to be my face shape, and it looks almost the same as your hair standing up... If you say it's not a system malfunction, I really don't believe it."
……
【Today Becomes a God】
early morning.
As usual, Berset got up at 4 a.m. Gine had already prepared breakfast.
"Belsay, your hair smells... wash it." Jine leaned over and smelled it, then quickly turned to the Bell track.
Belset was stunned for a moment, then nodded without objection.
"I'll wash it for you." Jine stepped forward and said.
"No need, Aunt Gine, I can do it myself." Belset went into the bathroom and washed his hair.
"Bersay, do you remember what day it is today?" Gine asked with a smile at the door.
"What is it? Aunt Gine?" Belsay asked while washing her hair.
"Today is your birthday!" Jine giggled, "In previous years, you always spent this time with Raditz."
Belset nodded and said nothing more.
Before I knew it, I am already 6 years old today.
"Come back early in the evening, Bardock and I will celebrate your birthday." Jine looked towards the Bell Raceway, feeling a little excited and expectant.
If he is really Bardock's and my biological son, then this birthday will be very meaningful.
"Okay." Berset nodded.
Afterwards, Bersay ate something quick and left home for the palace.
As for what Gine and Bardock discussed last night, Belsay fell asleep early and did not hear it.
Watching Berset's departing back, Gine found a few strands of hair from Berset's shampooing basin, dried them, and carefully wrapped them up.
"Bardock, I've prepared Belsay's hair." Gine placed the wrapped hair on the bedside table and asked, "Will the results be out today?"
"Sure, just put it in the machine for comparison, and the results will be available immediately." Bardock replied.
"I'll go with you." Jine suddenly became interested.
"Let's talk about it in the morning." Bardock turned his head to look at the dark night sky outside the window and asked, "Belsay is going to work so early?"
"Is it very hard?" Jine nodded, and then said, "Actually, it's good this way. Although it's hard, you don't have to be like Bardock who is out there and is in danger of his life at any time."
"You're right." Bardock nodded thoughtfully, unable to make a choice for a moment.
On the one hand, I want my child to become an excellent fighter.
On the other hand, I don’t want my children to encounter danger on an alien planet.
It's really contradictory.
"This time when I went to Cyril Planet, I met a dragon that I could make wishes with... He said he could fulfill any of my wishes." Bardock sat up from the bed, lost in thought.
"Is there such a thing?" Jine was slightly startled and asked curiously, "What is Badak's wish?"
