Chapter 42: The Shock of the Prophecy Bird
"Phoenix tastes better, right?" Rumsey turned and asked Belsay.
"No." Berset shook his head.
"Prophecy bird, quickly contribute a body! You can't die anyway, so let me taste the beggar's chicken." Rumsey grinned, and his elephant trunk swayed back and forth.
"You elephant! How dare you be so rude to a phoenix when you are like this! You must suck your trunk when you have nothing to do, otherwise your mouth would be full of shit!" The prophecy bird cursed.
Rumsey didn't bother with him. He slowly raised his hand and aimed it at the prophetic bird on the branch, condensing destructive energy in his hand.
The prophetic bird quickly shut up, but held its head high and walked back and forth on the branches.
There was a brief silence.
“If you have something to say, please talk nicely. Don’t unleash destruction at every turn.” The prophecy bird smiled awkwardly and made another sound like a hen laying eggs.
Berset didn't know what to say.
You are obviously a hen, but you are trying to pretend to be a phoenix.
Besides, cursing is really nasty...
"Hey, stop learning how to teleport and get some food for me and Kesi first." Rumsey ordered Belsey, "Cook all your specialties for us!"
"I need to learn simple teleportation first, otherwise the food I cook won't taste good!" Belsay said unhappily.
"Boy, do you know who you are talking to?" Rumsey began to roll up his sleeves again and moved closer to Belsay step by step.
Just when Ramsey was less than three meters away from Belsay.
"Shh!"
Belset flashed and disappeared from where he was.
In just a blink of an eye, Belsay appeared at the end of the planet Rumsey.
Rumsey opened his eyes wide, looking stunned.
Kes was also a little surprised and blinked her beautiful eyes quickly.
"That was teleportation? Cluck!" The bird monster of prophecy cried out, and snorted, "What's so great about that? Isn't that the standard for King Kai and trainee King Kai? Are you two so surprised?"
"Bah! You know shit!" Rumsey spat at the prophecy bird.
Prophecy Bird: “…”
"Rumsey, be more civilized!" The prophecy bird was furious.
"That kid has just become a trainee King of the Worlds, and it's been less than an hour!" Rumsey snorted.
"Clack?" The prophecy bird looked surprised, jumped a few times on the branch, and accidentally fell down.
"Clap!"
The prophecy bird seemed like an angry bird, falling to the ground with its head deeply embedded in the ground and its legs kicking wildly in the air.
"Can't you predict such a thing?" Rumsey rolled his eyes in annoyance, and the elephant's trunk kept shaking.
"Oh my, it's amazing that you've figured out teleportation so quickly?" Kess kept exclaiming with approval in her eyes.
"Not bad, not bad. If we continue to develop in this way, I estimate that it won't take more than a few days for us to master teleportation." Rumsey said excitedly, shaking his elephant trunk.
"Yes." Kess nodded slightly, her beautiful big eyes flickering quickly, "Maybe his body is more suitable for learning teleportation."
"It seems that this kid made the right choice to condense his body into a pure divine body." Rumsey nodded silently and grinned, "Actually, this is very good! This kid has an immortal body. From now on, I don't have to worry about disappearing while eating or sleeping." "Lord Rumsey, don't be too happy too soon. Belsay is not a real Kaioshin yet." Kes added.
"It doesn't matter. It's just a matter of time." Rumsey looked indifferent.
He has already become a trainee King of the Gods, and it is only a matter of time before he becomes a real King of the Gods.
Wait a little longer. If he is not the real Kaioshin, who else could it be?
"In that case, Lord Rumsey should be more polite to him." Kess sighed.
"Hmph, what do you know? A brat should be brought up from childhood. Only by giving him a beating and a sweet reward can he know how good I am to him." Ramsey didn't take Kes's words to heart at all.
"Snapped!"
The prophecy bird kicked its legs hard and finally lifted its head out of the ground.
Then, the prophecy bird shook its head vigorously to shake off the dust on its body, and asked in surprise: "Is that unpopular boy the intern Kaioshin who just took office in our universe?"
"That's right." Rumsey nodded, "Kess and I found the cook in the seventh universe."
The prophecy bird has a question mark on its head.
"Turns out this kid is a natural divine body. And that guy King Kai just happened to be planning to retire, and asked Kos to help find a suitable successor." Rumsey chuckled.
"So you took the cook with you?" The prophecy bird understood.
"Moreover, this kid's body is made up of pure divine power, so he is immortal. At least he is much better than that guy Gvas." Rumsey smiled even more brightly, and his elephant trunk curled up with pride.
"The so-called immortality only applies to ordinary gods, right?" The prophecy bird shook its head and said, "You, the God of Destruction, can completely destroy him, right?"
"Of course, there is nothing that the God of Destruction cannot destroy!" Rumsey said proudly, "Okay, Prophecy Bird, quickly predict how high this kid can achieve in the future after becoming a true Kaioshin?"
The prophecy bird looked far away at Belsay, and after a few seconds, a hint of fear suddenly appeared in its eyes.
But soon, the prophecy bird's expression flashed and then returned to normal.
Then the prophetic bird raised its chicken head.
"How is it? Can you predict it?" asked Rumsey, shaking the elephant's trunk.
"I can't predict how high my achievements will be in the future." The prophetic bird hopped on the ground a few times and whispered, "But I can predict what will happen in the near future."
"Then tell me." Rumsey snorted.
"I predict that in the near future you, Rumsey, will be tortured by something called pepper," the prophecy bird murmured.
Rumsey was stunned, not quite understanding what the prophecy bird meant, and asked curiously, "Explain it to me clearly, what kind of pepper is it? How to torture it?"
"I don't know the specific torture method. This is just my prediction. You'd better be careful." The prophecy bird said, and made another strange cry of a hen laying eggs.
"Chili! I'll remember it!" Rumsey nodded thoughtfully.
After thinking about it carefully, Rumsey quickly figured out what the prophecy bird had said.
It should be that Belsay kid who made a special food to take revenge on me!
Isn't this simple?
This guy has such a good relationship with Kesi, can't I just eat the things Kesi has eaten?
You're just a 6-year-old kid. I don't believe you can play any tricks in front of me.
