Chapter 12: Such a strong fighting force

Chapter 12: Such a strong fighting force

Bardock said no more and immediately flew into the sky, slowly flying towards the direction of the palace.

Under the cover of night, Bardock's eyes were as sharp as torches as he scanned the road, looking for Belsay's movements.

There weren't many people on the road at this time. Bardock searched with his detectors and eyes and felt that he should be able to find Belsay.

But Bardock searched all the way but couldn't find any trace of Belsay.

Before he knew it, Bardock was at the gate of the palace.

Two guards from the palace immediately blocked their way.

"Isn't this the low-ranking warrior Bardock?" one of the guards asked with a smile.

"What can I do for you?" another guard asked.

"I'm here to look for Belsay. Please inform the two of you." Bardock said calmly.

"Bersay? Is he the five-year-old chef in charge of the royal kitchen?" the first guard asked his companion.

"Yes, he seems to be living in Bardock's wife's house." Another guard nodded.

"No need to report, he's been kidnapped." The first guard shook his head and said to Bardock with a smile, "It's really strange that someone would kidnap a cook! I really don't know what he was thinking, is he going to take him home to be his personal chef?"

"Hahaha..." another guard laughed.

"That laugh of yours is too casual." The first guard glared at his companion.

"I just think the joke you told is not funny at all. It's polite to laugh along." The companion laughed again.

"You...what did you say? Kidnapped?" Bardock was horrified. He rushed forward and grabbed the guard's collar and lifted him up high. "Say it again!"

"You...what are you doing? Bardock! Do you know that you are just a low-level warrior!" The guard who was held high shouted coldly.

"Let him go!" His companion shouted angrily, stepped forward and punched Bardock hard on the back.

Bardock took the punch head-on, but acted as if nothing had happened. He turned around and glared coldly at the guard.

The guard was so frightened that he took several steps back with an extremely ugly look on his face.

"Tell me, what happened!" Bardock shouted.

"Clap!"

As he spoke, Bardock lifted the guard high up and pressed him against the wall, his expression extremely grim.

The guard struggled desperately, but it seemed useless. The horror in his eyes was visible to the naked eye.

"I'll tell you... I'll tell you... Let's talk it over nicely..." The guard immediately gave in.

Bardock's expression relaxed slightly, and he took the guard off the wall and placed him on the ground.

"I heard it... As for whether it's true or not, I don't know." The guard wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and explained hurriedly, "I heard that Belsay was kidnapped by an elephant and a little blue-skinned girl... There is no information about them."

"Elephant?" Bardock was stunned and asked coldly, "What kind of elephant?"

"The pink elephant... to be more precise, a human that looks like an elephant! We don't know which planet they are from." The guard explained, "The other one is a blue-skinned girl who looks a bit like a little girl."

"How long have they been away with Belsay?" Bardock asked in a low voice.

"It's been about five or six hours." The guard wiped his sweat and answered truthfully.

"You...what did you say? In just five or six hours, we have already flown out of the galaxy where our planet Vegeta is!" Bardock was shocked and angry. He stepped forward again and lifted the guard who was speaking high up.

The companion was so frightened that he trembled and could not utter a word.

"Why are you telling me now?" Bardock asked coldly.

The two guards wanted to cry.

You are asking this now...

"Damn it! Who is Belsay's boss?" Bardock suddenly felt that the two guards seemed innocent, so he asked quickly. "Is it the imperial chef, Master Gra?" One of the guards said thoughtfully.

"Yes, yes, it's him, the imperial chef, Gra." The guard who was lifted high nodded repeatedly and pointed to a place in the moonlight. "His home is over there."

Bardock put the guard down again, turned around and left, flying towards the Gra family.

Watching Bardock leave, the two guards breathed a sigh of relief.

"Is that guy really Bardock?" the first guard asked in disbelief.

"Yes...you are right!" The companion rubbed his eyes and nodded.

"He pressed me against the wall just now... I felt like I had lost all my strength... This means his fighting ability has far surpassed mine." The first guard looked pale and spoke haltingly.

"Is this guy too low-key? He has obviously become a top-notch soldier, but he didn't apply for it." Cold sweat slid down his companion's forehead.

"I guess his combat power is at least 8000." The first guard said in a deep voice.

"8000? That is indeed a top-notch soldier!" His companion's eyes widened and his expression was extremely solemn.

Badock easily found the home of the royal chef, Gra, and knocked hard on his door.

"Crench!"

Grala opened the door of his house, rubbed his sleepy eyes, and saw Bardock appearing at the door. He asked curiously, "Who are you? Why are you not sleeping so late and coming to my house?"

"Are you the imperial chef Gra?" Badak frowned and looked at the other person with a cold face.

Gra is a middle-aged man with a rather ugly appearance, a little fat and a small beard.

Small eyes, garlic nose, thick lips.

At first glance, he is a villain type of character and not very likable.

"Yes, I am the chief chef!" Gra shook his head and nodded.

"You should know about Belsay, right?" Bardock suppressed his anger and asked coldly.

"Bersay? I remember now, you are Gine's husband Bardock, right?" Gra's eyes lit up and he immediately came to his senses.

Bardock didn't say anything, which was considered as his agreement.

"I was just about to tell you... Something happened to Belsay today. I was planning to go talk to Gine about it, but then King Vegeta asked me to cook for him to entertain his distinguished guest, Mr. Dodoria..." Gra was quite shrewd and soon knew the purpose of Bardock's coming here. He immediately said with a smile, "Those two guys who kidnapped Belsay are too much! Not only did they kidnap Belsay, but they also packed up all the food that Belsay had just cooked and took it away!"

"Tell me in detail, who are they?" Bardock asked coldly.

Gra had no choice but to tell Bardock everything he knew in detail.

Bardock's brows were tightly knitted together.

What Gra said was almost the same as what the two guards said.

"I'm very sorry about this. I should have told you in advance." Gra smiled awkwardly and apologized quickly.

Bardock's expression softened slightly.

The chief chef has said so much, it would be inappropriate to take any action against him.

"But, Bersay is not your and Gine's child, right? I remember he is Potei's child." Gra said with a smile, "If he is your biological son, I will definitely tell you at the first opportunity."

It would have been better if he hadn't said this, but once it was spoken, Bardock felt as if his heart was pricked by a needle.

It hurts!

"boom!"

Bardock's eyes turned cold, and he kicked sideways, hitting Gra in the stomach.
