Chapter 59: When people are on the mountain, follow them!
"this?"
Wang looked a little confused. He didn't expect that the two of them were chatting happily one second, and then the other party turned hostile to him the next second.
"Wang You, what are you doing? Go and apologize to Taoist Yunlong!"
Mr. Wang was furious.
"Forget it, Dad, just let me go. You and brother should go and have a rest first."
Wang Ye said with a headache.
He understood Taoist Yunlong's character better than anyone else present, and letting his elder brother Wang go there again would only make him even angrier.
Seeing that his younger brother Wang was chasing after Taoist Yunlong, Wang was still a little confused.
Thanks to Mr. Wang's education, the three brothers in Mr. Wang's family have a good relationship. Mr. Wang also doesn't think that becoming a monk is a good choice.
Even if Wang Ye became a monk, it might not be a bad thing for him and his second brother Wang Yi.
So he used his usual tricks abroad and tried to bribe Wang Ye's master, Taoist Yunlong, with money.
But who would have thought that the other party would immediately turn hostile and refuse to acknowledge him.
Are there really religious people in this world who don’t love money?
But if that is the case, why do they accept pilgrims?
Wang's eyes were full of doubts. He used this method to bribe many local eminent monks in Southeast Asia.
At this moment, a hand rested on his shoulder.
The king turned his head again.
It turned out to be the young man who once saved his father.
Wang Yuanjing had a strong spiritual perception. He listened to what Brother Wang Ye and Taoist Yunlong said and naturally knew what had happened.
Considering that this person is Wang Ye's elder brother, he wanted to give him some advice.
"Brother Jing."
Wang immediately smiled again, as if what had just happened had never happened.
Wang Yuanjing shook his head and pointed at the couplet in front of them. There were two lines of words written on it:
"If you have evil thoughts in your mind, burning incense will do no good."
"If you are upright, why don't you bow to me when I see you?"
There are many scammers who abuse the name of religion to make money, but it is undeniable that there are still many true practitioners in this world who regard money and property as dirt.
Everything in the world has a corresponding value, but not everything can be measured by money.
Wang habitually uses the businessman's thinking to measure people's hearts
In terms of judging people, he is not as good as his father Wang Weiguo.
After a brief interlude, Wang Ye’s apprenticeship ceremony officially began.
No one knew what tricks this guy used, but Taoist Yunlong's originally stinky face returned to its original state, but he was still displeased when he saw Wang You.
The Taoist apprenticeship ceremony is quite grand, especially for a prestigious sect like Wudang.
First of all, you have to choose an auspicious day, prepare offerings, burn incense to worship the ancestors, and pray for blessings.
This was done with particular solemnity, and everything was done according to the highest standards. After all, it was the apprenticeship ceremony of the young master of the Zhonghai Wang family, so naturally all these worldly things were available.
Then the disciple bows three times and kowtows nine times to the master, offers tea and reads the "Apprenticeship Letter".
Wang Ye was born as a top student in Xiyu, so he was naturally good at writing. He took the carefully prepared "Apprenticeship Letter" and read it out loud, praising Wudang and several teachers, making them laugh heartily.
After reading the letter of apprenticeship, it is the last and most important step.
The master gives blessings and empowerment (crown) to the person who wants to be his disciple, and explains the lineage, rules and precepts of the sect.
The composition of Wudang in Wang Yuanjing's original world is relatively complex, with Zhengyi and Quanzhen. This world is relatively pure and directly belongs to Quanzhen.
When disciples of Zhengyi sect enter the sect, they must take the Three Refuges and Nine Precepts, while disciples of Quanzhen sect must take the Three Refuges and Five Precepts.
The Three Refuges are similar in nature, namely, taking refuge in the path, taking refuge in the sutra, and taking refuge in the teacher.
The five precepts that most Quanzhen sects must follow are: one is to abstain from killing, two is to abstain from slander, three is to abstain from drinking alcohol, four is to abstain from stealing, and five is to abstain from lust and immorality.
But Wang Yuanjing still felt like laughing for some unknown reason.
During that invasion war, all these Taoist masters were bloodthirsty!
It can be seen that even those Taoists who claim to have seen through the mundane world and who always shout about becoming immortals cannot escape from the position of being human beings at the critical moment.
仙.
People are on the mountain, and people follow the mountain.
Ultimately, we still can’t get rid of the word “human”.
“But I don’t hate it.”
Wang Yuanjing smiled and whispered.
"Wow, what a straight spine!"
"How about this new apprentice I found for you?"
Zhou Meng looked at Wang Ye's back and asked Taoist Yunlong beside him.
"Humph!" Taoist Yunlong snorted coldly, but his slightly raised eyebrows still revealed his true thoughts.
"Children nowadays are really not simple!"
Zhou Meng didn't know what he was thinking of, and said with some emotion.
"You mean?"
Taoist Yunlong asked tentatively.
Zhou Meng glanced at the Mesozoic facade.
"The young man who came with Xiaoye, don't tell me you can't see it."
“I don’t know which family trained this disciple.”
Taoist Master Yunlong, who was squeezed, smiled awkwardly and then became serious.
"He is a light-hearted and light-hearted person. He is indeed a good candidate."
"But Master, you are wrong this time. He is not from a big sect, but an independent person."
"Do you believe it?"
Zhou Meng asked back.
Before Taoist Yunlong could answer.
"The aura is calm and peaceful, and he looks a bit like someone from my Xuan Sect."
"His life force is strong, his energy and spirit are almost overflowing, which shows that he must have made great progress in his cultivation recently."
"Is this something a young casual person can do?"
"Yunlong, Yunlong, you are so old, why are you still so stupid?"
After saying that, Zhou Meng shook his head, put his hands behind his back and walked away.
"Master is right!"
Taoist Yunlong shouted at Zhou Meng's leaving figure.
Then he chuckled.
Yunlong didn't really understand, he was just pretending to be confused.
If he knew everything, where would Zhou Meng, his mentor, stand?
After all, he was just a ten-year-old apprentice.
Besides
"My disciple is not a bad guy either!"
Taoist Yunlong muttered.
He was able to gain the sense of Qi just by relying on an introductory stance of health preservation. It can be said that his legacy has a successor.
"Little friend?"
Wang Yuanjing watched Wang Ye walk into the hall, and a hand reached out from behind.
He turned around and dodged.
After turning around
"you are?"
he asked with some confusion.
Still recognized it?
Wang Yuanjing thought to himself.
The person who extended his hand was a short bald man, about fifty years old.
Taoist Master Yunlong traveled abroad when he was young. Because of his extraordinary strength and good interpersonal skills, he had made friends with many extraordinary people from various sects.
This time, the recruiting of disciples was also an invitation, and this bald man was one of them.
Of course, he has another identity.
Seeking Truth Society——Hou Jian.
The Truth Seeking Society was formed by the merger of four sects, namely the Natural Sect, Yanwu Hall, Yiliu Sect and Huangmen Sancai.
Although Yiliu's status in the Truth Seeking Society is not as high as the previous two, this does not affect Hou Jian's status in it.
Because he is the most senior person in the group.
The first is to be diligent and loyal to the country, which is the true precept;
The second is to respect and yield, and to be filial to one’s parents, which is the first true precept;
The third is not to kill, to be compassionate to all living beings, this is the true precept;
Fourth, not being promiscuous and treating things properly are the true precepts;
The fifth is not to steal, to sacrifice oneself for the sake of justice, which is the precept of preserving the truth;
The sixth is not to be angry, or to bully others with anger, which is the precept for cultivating the truth;
The seventh is not to deceive, as thieves will harm the good, and this is the precept of achieving the truth;
The eighth is not to be arrogant. Arrogance ignores the true nature and this is the true warning;
The nine are non-dual, and to serve the Dao wholeheartedly is the way to attain the true precepts.
(The above are the nine precepts of Zhengyi. I put them here to avoid you accusing me of padding the word count.)
There are a lot of these things on the Internet, but it is hard to tell whether they are real or fake. The Three Refuges and Five Precepts of Quanzhen and the Three Refuges and Nine Precepts of Zhengyi are what the author learned from consulting a friend of the same group. They are serious Taoist priests.
